I am not sure when things started to get weird.
Quoting Sufi aphorisms sounded like a good idea, almost as good as telling people you studied philosophy at a cocktail party. But it started to get weird because the boundaries of creating content and being the content of your writing need to be maintained. There are boundaries that are blurred when you do this kind of creation thing each week.
Everyone becomes a potential subject for the next essay.
